Golden Sunbeam International

Golden Sunbeam came into being in 1989 In Accra, Ghana with Emmanuel and Monica Ohene Opare. It began as a small makeshift school which had previously been a blacksmith’s shop  and grew to offer academic programs from K-College level on 3 campuses, graduating 1,000’s of students. Upon nearing retirement, the Opare’s were able to sell their campuses with the intent to live off of the proceeds.   Feeling called once again to further quality education in Ghana, they have taken the proceeds, purchased 50 acres of land and have started over in a place of much needed educational opportunities.   We invite you to get involved and assist them in creating additional opportunities for students in need.

AFRICA

We don’t charge for the Who I Really Am (WIRA) program. It is the culmination of thousands of hours of work, and we think it is so important that we give it to you free of charge. However, we are inviting you to get involved.

Three organizations need your assistance!  Many items are needed to continue their growth. Your donations will go directly to help the students and adults in precarious situations get the education they need to live productive lives.  It will pay for books and resources to continue to bring WIRA and other supplies to those in need in Ghana. All other expenses (airplane tickets, food, etc.) will be donated by the WIRA team. 100% of your donation will go to WIRA supplies and other educational necessities for the people in Ghana.
